Mrs. Judith Ann Duke, 74 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home on the evening of May 6, 2020 and was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her late husband, John. Judith was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 5, 1945 to Theodore and Clara Wolst. She obtained her Master's degree in education from Wayne State University and went on to teach at multiple schools in the Metro Detroit area for nearly 30 years. Her love for the north brought her from Rochester to Lewiston where she resided for almost 20 years. Judith was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lewiston and enjoyed both gardening and nature. She will be deeply missed.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Jody (Don) Sharp of South Lyon; grandson, Tony; sister, Pat Rubley of Sterling Heights; companion, John Altherr of Lewiston; nieces, Karen Rubley of North Carolina; Kim Duke; Stephanie Duke; and nephew, Craig Rubley of Oxford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Clara Wolst; and husband, John Duke.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Judith privately at this time.
