Mrs. Joyce Elaine Tunnicliffe, 82 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at Hillman's Haven with family at her side on July 11, 2023. She was born in a little green house in Atlanta, Michigan at home on November 23, 1940, to the late, Leslie and Lorraine (Badgerow) Wilson. Joyce resided in Atlanta most all her life except for the 20+ years she lived in Texas. She was a member of the Red Hats and loved to socialize. She knew everybody. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She loved to dance and listen to bands. She was adventurous and independent, driving herself to Arizona all the time to visit her children and sisters. She enjoyed watching her two favorite soap operas, The Bold and The Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. She liked reading, puzzles, playing cards with friends, keno and pull tabs. She enjoyed the annual parades and the Montmorency County Fair each year. She is and will be deeply missed.
Joyce is survived by her children, Shari (Tom) Klein of Hillman, Gary Longpre of Whittemore, Daniece (Greg) Morgan of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Patzer of Mesa, Arizona, Marlene (Jule) Peterson of Big Lake, Alaska, Janet (Richard) Dines of Mesa, Arizona; and son-in-law, Micky Foy of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lorraine Wilson; husband, Arvin Tunnicliffe; daughter, Carol Longpre Foy; sister, Rosemary Beauregard; brother-in-law, Frank Patzer; and stepson, Joe Tunnicliffe.
