Joyce Klein

Joyce Klein Joyce Klein, 81, of Hillman, MI passed away on Monday February 5, 2008 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 7, 1927 to Edmond and Leah (McKenzie) Dziesinski in Alpena, MI. She married Donald Klein on June 29, 1947. She lived in Hillman ever since her marriage to Donald. She was a member of the flower club and the Hillman PTA. She used to work at the elections polls. Joyce enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She enjoyed to be in the country, being able to watch the animals outside. She loved her children and grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her son, Randy (Theresa) Klein of Mt Holly, NC; daughter, Evonne (David) Hopkins of Livermore, CA; 2 grandchildren, Erin Soto and Phillip Hopkins; and a half sister, Delight Gapske of Alpena, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Dave Hill officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Friday from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
