Johny Ray Sundburg Johny Ray Sundburg, 53, of Lewiston, formerly of Olivet, MI, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. He was born on November 26, 1955 to Dewey and Phyllis (Lindsey) Sundberg in Marshall, MI. John married the former Diane Wydendorf on July 28, 1979 in Albion, MI. He attended the Congregation of the United Church of Christ in Lewiston and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He and his wife raised many foster children through Star Commenwealth. He enjoyed attending car shows and tractor pulls. He loved the outdoors, especially mushrooming, hunting, and fishing. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his wife and boys. Johny is survived by his wife, Diane of Lewiston, MI; four sons, Cam of Kalamazoo, MI, Kip of Battle Creek, MI, Cal of Ft Hood, TX, and Kye at home in Lewiston; mother, Phyllis Sundberg of Marshall, MI; brothers, Mark (Carla) of Marshall, MI, Keith of Olivet, MI, and Kevin (Cathy) of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his father Dewey; and a brother Junior Sundberg. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Congregation of the United Church of Christ in Lewiston, MI, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. Local arrangements were handled by the Green Funeral Home. Further services were held Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Craig Kempf Funeral Home in Marshall, MI, Pastor Doug Hammond officiating.
