John Flynn

John William Flynn John William Flynn, 62, of Lewiston, MI, died on August 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born on February 2, 1953 to Robert and Carolyn (Lehman) Flynn in Owosso, MI. John has lived in Lewiston since 1998 formerly of St Charles, MI. He worked in construction all his life, primarily for his family, retiring in 2009. He attended St Paul's Catholic Church in Owosso. John was an outdoors guy and an avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, riding ATVs and gardening. He also liked to collect model cars that he put together and woodworking. John is survived by his wife, Judy of Lewiston, MI; son, Simon (Melody) Laux of Oakley, MI; daughter, Trisha (Kevin) Zike of Bloomington, IN; step daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Nixon of Chesaning, MI, Cheryl McDonagh and Pamela McDonagh, both of St Charles, MI; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Linda Koronka) Flynn of Lewiston, MI; and sisters, Catherine (Rod) Blasdel of Columbus, IN, Theresa (Bob) Dumond, Suzanne (Robert) MacSuga, and Sara Flynn, all of Owosso, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Carolyn, and a sister, Debbie Webster. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mr Flynn will he held at Henderson Park in Henderson, MI on September 19, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 PM.
