John Daly

John V. Daly John Vincent Daly, 88, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at his residence. He was born on April 4, 1919 to Matt and Josephine (Traynor) Daly in Kalamazoo, MI. John has lived in Lewiston since 1981. He was a member of St Francis Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and socializing. He loved to play horse shoes and boat on East Twin. John is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Gary) Cooley of North Branch, MI; two sons, Dan and Patrick, both of Lewiston, MI; three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jeanette, and Sarah; and his best friend, Don O'Connor of Auburn Hills, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2004. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at St Francis Catholic Church, Fr Ray Cotter officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at St Francis Catholic Cemetery.
