John Czajkowski

John Stephen Czajkowski Mr. John Stephen Czajkowski, 74 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away suddenly at his residence on February 15, 2013. He was born to Stephen and Lucy (Lewinski) Czajkowski in Detroit, Michigan on August 12, 1938. He married loving wife, Patricia (Plansek) on September 12, 1959 in Detroit and together they raised a family. John had lived in Lewiston for the past 17 years, formally of Warren. He retired from the Ford Sterling Plant after 30 years of service. He enjoyed watching old movies, especially old war movies and Christmas shows. He was an avid hunter, hunting all over the world, and loved anything that involved being outdoors. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Patricia Czajkowski of Lewiston; son, John Jr. (Dawn) Czajkowski of Warren; daughters, Laurie (Frank) Mikolajczak of Lewiston; Cheryl Czajkowski of Port Sanilac; Debbie (Steve) Schlaf of Macomb Township; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Stella) Czajkowski of Sterling Heights; and sister, Alice O'Brien of Shelby Township. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Lucy Czajkowski. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date.
