John Joseph Beem

John Joseph Beem Sr. passed away in the comfort of his home on July 20, 2023, after a short illness. John is preceded in death by his wife Lucille, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Pam Beem, and longtime partner Betty Crawford. He is survived by his 3 sons: John Jr. (Suzy), William, and Gary (Lori), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Richard (Gwen) Beem and sisters: Mary Louise Powers, Nancy Blaisdell and Barbara (Jim) Butler. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a carpenter, avid woodworker and cabinetmaker. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Lewiston Post and, for a time, served as Chaplin. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 2pm-4pm, at Pollock Randall Funeral Home, 912 Lapeer Rd, Port Huron, MI 48060. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John’s name to the charity of your choice. Inurnment will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel cemetery during a private ceremony at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
