Jerry Robert Wolter Jerry Robert Wolter, 66, of Hillman, passed away on March 20, 2008 at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman. He was born on September 29, 1941 to Frank and Emma (Klebbs) in Royston, MI. He lived in Hillman all of his life. He worked in the woods as a laborer for many years. He was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church. He loved his dogs and cats. He enjoyed "poking fun" at everyone, even the nurses at Medilodge. Jerry is survived by his brother, Frank Wolter of Hillman, MI; sister Antonia Rupinski of Onaway, MI; sister in law, Barbara Wolter of Rogers City, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Emma; brothers, Edward, Wilbert, and Max; and a sister Florence Wallace. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at St Johns Lutheran Church in Hillman, MI, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 until time of service.
