Jeffrey Peter Foltz, aged 52, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer on July 6th, 2024, with his loving wife Lisa by his side.

Jeff was born in Petoskey, Michigan, on August 6th, 1971, to his parents, Dennis and Connie (Walker) Foltz. He graduated from Petoskey High School in 1989, where he found his love for baseball, after which he enlisted in the U.S. Army. On August 16th, 2014, Jeff married the love of his life, Delisa, in Atlanta. The two of them spent their free time rockhounding in the Upper Peninsula, with a special connection to the Lake Superior shoreline in Grand Marais. Jeff also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his grandchildren participate in athletic contests.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jeff is survived by his father-in-law, Sabin Vandercook; his brothers, Tim (Crystalynn) Foltz of Mason, MI, and Dan (Jayeon) Foltz of South Korea; sons Kevin (Kerstin) Foltz of Schwebheim, Germany, Ryan (Amber) Vandercook of Normal, IL, and Joseph (Emily) Gross of Linden, MI; grandchildren Fenja, Aubrey, and Bentley, and several nieces and nephews.

As were Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements being handled by Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI.
