Jeffery Scott Wilson Mr. Jeffery Scott Wilson, 65, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away on April 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1952 to Robert and Dahris (Kwetcher) Wilson in Detroit, Michigan. Jeff worked for Old Republic Title in Monterey, California for 20 years, retiring in 2008, then moving to Hillman where he resided up until last year. He attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Royston throughout his life. He enjoyed anything on the water, Jeff was an avid sailor and was also a member of the Navy League. He also enjoyed hunting and shooting guns, and building ship models. Jeff is survived by his mother, Dahris Wilson of Hillman; sister, Melissa (Arild) Olsen of Hillman; and niece and nephew, Brittany and Erik. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service held in honor of his life on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St John's Lutheran Church in Royston, Michigan, with Pastor Jason Mandley officiating. There will be visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
