Jeannette Nicholas

Jeannette M. Nicholas Jeannette M. Nicholas, 71 of Hillman, MI passed away on March 6, 2012 at Hillman Haven. She was born on December 5, 1940 to Mario and Charlotte (Bidoul) Olivero in Royal Oak, MI. She has lived in Hillman since 1981 and was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church, as well as the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for GM for twenty years and retired in 1983. She worked various jobs over the years in hospitals and as a waitress. She enjoyed all sorts of crafts such as ceramics, painting, and quilting. She liked to be outdoors fishing and gardening, but above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Elana) Bacalia of Warren; daughters, Renee (Richard) Guarnieri and Janill (Kaleb) Edwards, both of Hillman; grandchildren, Cassie, Christopher, Alena, Tabitha, Jozlyn, Marina, Amber; and great-grandchildren, Kayden and Gavin; sister, Ida (Marshall) Arnett of South Branch. She was preceded in death by her husband, William George Nicholas. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the VFW Hall in Hillman, MI at 1:00 PM.
She is survived by her son, Christopher (Elana) Bacalia of Warren; daughters, Renee (Richard) Guarnieri and Janill (Kaleb) Edwards, both of Hillman; grandchildren, Cassie, Christopher, Alena, Tabitha, Jozlyn, Marina, Amber; and great-grandchildren, Kayden and Gavin; sister, Ida (Marshall) Arnett of South Branch. She was preceded in death by her husband, William George Nicholas.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the VFW Hall in Hillman, MI at 1:00 PM.
