Jean Ann Runyan Mrs. Jean Ann Runyan, 71, of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at AuSable Valley Community Home in Fairview, Michigan on June 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan to the late, James and Bertha (Miller) Ferguson on November 19, 1946. She married her husband, Richard Runyan in Holly, Michigan on September 9, 1967 and together the couple celebrated 50 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Fenton, the couple moved to Lewiston in 1979 and operated Dick's Truck Stop in Vienna from 1979 to 1986. Jean also worked at Hidden Valley in the daycare center for a few years, as well as leading BINGO at the Johannesburg Fire Department. She was a Girl Scout brownie troop leader with her kids and a lover of Elvis. She enjoyed playing card games, her favorite being rummy. Aside from her work and her hobbies, she enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed by each one of them. She is survived by her husband, Richard Runyan; sons, Michael (Heather) Runyan; Christopher Runyan; daughters, Lorenda Davis; and Cheryl (Ronnie) Wilding all of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn Nelson of Clio. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Ferguson; and eleven siblings. Funeral services for Mrs. Runyan will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until time of service. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
