Jean Carpenter

Jean Carpenter Jean Carpenter, 82, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on September 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born on April 13, 1928 to Albert and Hazel (Kennell) Andress in Elm Wood, MI. She has lived in Lewiston for the past 20 yrs, formerly of Northville, MI. She loved to keep a nice house, and liked to collect knick knacks, especially angels. She was always a happy go lucky kind of person, who loved having a lot of friends, and enjoyed the time she spent with them. Jean is survived by her sister, Ruth Hutchinson of Caro, MI; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; brother, J. D. Andress; sisters, Wilma Downey, Beverley Parker, and Gladys Andress; and companion, Ron Smith. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mrs Carpenter will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
