Jason Leitch

Jason "Uncle Jake" Leitch Jason "Uncle Jake" Leitch, 87, of Hillman, passed away at Medilodge Nursing Home on January 22, 2010. He was born on March 22, 1922 to James and Cecilia (Apley) Leitch in Ubly, MI. He served his country in the US Army. He has lived in Hillman since 1976 formerly of Cass City, MI. He retired from GM in 1967 after 18 yrs there. He used to love to hunt and was an avid walker. Uncle Jake always enjoyed socializing with family and friends. He alos liked to take bus trips to the Casino. Uncle Jake is survived by his son, Harold, of Green Bay, WI; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews as well. He was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Julia, Eva, and Annabel; and a great great nephew Chase Covington. Funeral services for Mr Leitch will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, at 2:00 PM, Pastor David Hill officiating. Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
