Janie Hannon

Janie Virginia Hannon Mrs. Janie Virginia Hannon, 74 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away at her residence on April 21, 2013 with loved ones at her side. She was born to John and Bertha Shumaker on June 25, 1938 in Richmond, Virginia. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1991, formerly of Livonia. She worked as a waitress and bar maid for many years and was a member of the Atlanta Eagles. She enjoyed puzzle books, video poker, and working outside in her yard. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Douglas Wayne Griffin of Holt, Michigan; granddaughter, Ashley; and numerous friends. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday June 22, 2013 at the Atlanta Eagles Hall.
