Janette Rose

Janette J. Rose Janette J. Rose, 78 of Atlanta passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at her residence after an extended illness. Janette was born July 24, 1928 in Pontiac, MI the daughter of Gerald and Margaret (Yates) Bird. She and her husband Jim Rose moved to Atlanta in 1974 from Waterford, Michigan. Janette was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. She was an avid fisherman, and loved camping and mushroom hunting. Janette was preceded in death by her husband Jim, daughter Pamela Poniatowski, and her brother Ron Bird. She is survived by her sons David of Atlanta and James (Marji) of Traverse City, MI, 6 grandchildren and a great grandson, brothers Don (Debbi) Bird of Fair Haven, MI, Rod Bird of Rapid River, MI and Butch Bird of Lapeer, MI and sisters Diane Smith of Fenton, MI and Mary (Dan) Smith of Lapeer, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday from the Green Funeral Home Atlanta. Burial will be in Briley Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
