Janette Fitzgerald

Janette Ruth Fitzgerald Mrs. Janette Ruth Fitzgerald, 84 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away at Eaton Palliative Care in Charlotte, Michigan on August 10, 2014. She was born in Detroit to the late, Earnest and Alice (Sawyer) Trim on June 17, 1930. She married husband, Jack Fitzgerald on May 26, 1951 and together they raised two children. The couple moved to Atlanta in 1991 after staying almost a year in Garden City. Janette was a bookkeeper for Wallich Lumber Company for 19 years. She was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church and sang in the choir. She did volunteer work in the church office and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary there. She will be missed by family and friends. She is survived by son, Rick (Linda) Fitzgerald of Canton; daughter, Kim (Bill) Goeman of Garden City; four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brother, Earnest (Donna) Trim of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Alice Trim; and husband, Jack Fitzgerald. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services for Mrs Fitzgerald will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Hillman. Interment will take place Saturday afternoon at Briley Twp Cemetery.
