James Vansickle

James V. VanSickle James V. VanSickle, 54, of Atlanta, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1954 to Andrew and Virginia (Edwards) VanSickle in Flint, MI. He married the former Mary Kulka on May 23, 1987 on Mackinac Island. Jim has lived in Atlanta most of his life. He worked as a plumber in mobile home construction and also at Lewiston Forest Products for many years. He used to enjoy to hunt and fish. He loved to farm with his grandparents. Above all else came his family. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary, of Atlanta, MI; son A.J. VanSickle of Gaylord, MI; daughters, Amy VanSickle of St Johns, MI, and Shannon Handrich of Lewiston, MI; 2 grandchildren, William and Logan; mother, Virginia Irons of Atlanta, MI; brothers, Ron VanSickle of Atlanta, MI, and Larry VanSickle of New Port Richey, FL; and a sister, Kelly Garey of New Port Richey, FL. Funeral services for Mr VanSickle will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
