James Edward Cook II James Edward Cook II, 35, of Atlanta, MI, died on July 10, 2015. He was born on April 8, 1980 to James and Dorothy (Watson) Cook in Pontiac, MI. James moved to Atlanta nine years ago from Pontiac, MI. He owned and operated J C Roofing, and took a lot of pride in his work. He was a member of the Mississaugas of the New Credit of the Ojibwa tribe. He enjoyed the time he spent coaching the Atlanta Eagles youth football team for the past 3 years. He was an avid fisherman, and truly loved being up north. James is survived by his loving companion, Dana Graber; parents, James and Dorothy Cook of Atlanta, MI; children, Chantel, Jason, Aiden, and Kaylynn; brother, Bill Cook of Waterford, MI; and sisters, Sheila (Jason) Gault) of Ortonville, MI, Angela Ketchum of Ortonville, MI, Chris (Edward) Lawson of Wisconsin, and Tammie (Fred) McAllitster of Arizona. A memorial gathering for Mr. Cook will be held at his parents home on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
