Jack Leroy Nicholas Mr. Jack Leroy Nicholas, 59, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on March 26, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1953 in Selma, OR. He has lived in Atlanta for the past six years. He worked as a contracted forester for the State of Oregon for 20 years. He loved the outdoors, both fishing and hunting. Jack could fix anything, was quite a tinkerer, a "Jack" of all trades. He also enjoyed time on the CB radio and riding motorcycles over the years. Jack is survived by his sons, Troy (Jackie) of Oregon, Zach of Bay City, MI, and Adam, Westonlee, and Austin all of Atlanta; daughters, Tanja Nicholas of Oregon, Heidy (Mikeal) Van Horn of Bay City, MI, Jessie (Kurtis) Norton of St Helen, MI, Sarabrooke Nicholas of Temple, TX, and Hollie Nicholas of Atlanta, MI; the mother of his children, Gerri Detloff; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, Faye Cobb of Oregon; brother, Jim Nicholas; and sisters, Diane Nicholas of Oregon, and Vicky (Victor) Hajzduk of Pennsylvania. Funeral services for Mr. Nicholas will be held on March 28, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI. Visitation hours will be held from noon until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Nicholas Family, c/o Green Funeral Home, PO Box 201, Atlanta, MI 49709.
