Jack Eugene Hughey Jack Eugene Hughey, 78, of Atlanta, MI, has gone to rest with God on April 22, 2011. He was born to Bernard and Anna (Kimberly) Hughey on March 8, 1933 in Florida, OH. He married the former Louise Pasnik on March 31, 1956 in Flat Rock, MI. Jack served his country in the US Air Force during Korea. He attended Big Rock Congregational Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His other hobbies included horseshoe playing, camping, and woodworking. He was a member of the Atlatna Senior Citizens. Jack is survived by his wife and best friend of 55 years, Louise Hughey of Atlanta, MI; four children, Carol (Dave) Allmon of New Boston, MI, Ken (Meredith) Hughey of Wayne, MI, Tom (Kathy) Hughey of Carleton, MI, and Deborah (Lonnie Warren) Ellison of Romulus, MI; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two brothers, James (Shirley) of Fort Meyers, FL, and Wallace (Ellen) of Taylor, MI. He was preceded in death by his son Jack Hughey Jr; brothers, Charles and Bernard; and a sister Marian. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mr Hughey was held on April 25, 2011 at the Big Rock Congregational Church, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Keith Jones officiating.
