Hugh Quinn Sr.

Hugh Edward Quinn Sr. Mr. Hugh Edward Quinn Sr., 80 of Hillman, Michigan died at MidMichigan Medical Center of Alpena on October 10, 2017. He was born on September 19, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Justin and Marion (Zundell) Quinn. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly. On July 16, 1955 in Ann Arbor he married his wife, Lois (Price) Quinn and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage before her passing in 2009. Hugh worked in maintenance for Ford Motor Company for 30+years at the Rawsonville Ford Plant and retired in 1997. In his retirement he enjoyed boating on Lake Avalon, hunting, and fishing. He loved his dog, Buddy, and his time spent with family and friends. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by children, Cathy (Kenneth) Hogg of St. Helen; Hugh Jr (Donna) Quinn of Defiance, Ohio; Ronnie Quinn of Manistee; daughter, Toni Blandford of Hillman; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Twila) Quinn of Page, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin and Marion Quinn; wife, Lois; sister, Maryann; daughter, Angela; and grandson, Ronnie Quinn Jr. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Quinn.

As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Quinn.
