Howard Gatch

Howard Lee Gatch Howard Lee Gatch, 62 of Atlanta passed way Sunday, January 14, 2007 at his residence following a short battle with cancer Howard was born November 11, 1944 in Charleston, SC the son of Howard and Katherine (Davis) Gatch Sr. He served 22 years in the military, serving both in the US Navy and US Army. Howard and his wife the former Geraldine Isaacson, whom he married September 11, 1987 retired to Atlanta two years ago. Howard was a lifetime member of the VFW and an active member of the Atlanta Senior Citizens. He truly enjoyed helping people with whatever problem they had to confront. Howard is survived by his wife Gerri, sons Howard III of Miami, Fl and William of Charleston, SC, step sons Ron (Laura) Beckley of Ft Wayne, IN, Randal (Janet) Beckley of Houston, TX, Russell (Tammy) Beckley of Saugatuck, MI and Ryan (Diana) Beckley of Muskegon, MI, 8 grandchildren and one great grandson. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2007 at the Big Rock Congregational Church, Pastor Ken McGarvey officiating. Friends may call at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of services. Full military honors will be accorded by Atlanta VFW Post 9489.
