Hilda Elizabeth Molnar Mrs. Hilda Elizabeth Molnar, 91 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on the morning of August 22, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena with her family at her bedside. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois the daughter of the late, Joseph and Theresa (Mull) Lukitsch on December 16, 1924. She married the love of her life, Stephen Molnar, on February 21, 1944 and together the couple celebrated 67 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. Hilda has lived in Hillman since 1984 having vacationed her since 1949. She worked as a housekeeper for the Seaway Hospital in Trenton for ten years. She was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and past member of the Lioness Club in Hillman and the K of C Ladies Auxiliary. Hilda was an avid bowler and played in leagues and tournaments over the years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and baking, and watching Westerns on television that included John Wayne. Above everything she did, her time spent with family was precious to her and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Terri) Molnar of Ocala, Florida; Martin (Diane) Molnar of Hendersonville, North Carolina; James (Theresa) Molnar of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; daughter, Catherine (David) Pevovar of Silverdale, Washington; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Theresa Lukitsch; husband, Stephen Molnar; and fourteen brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Mrs. Molnar will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church; Hillman; Fr. Michael Conner officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service.
