Herman Rudolph Rahn Herman Rudolph Rahn, 82, of Lewiston, passed away on November 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born on October 7, 1927 to Albert and Nellie (Eckinger) Rahn in Bay City, MI. He married Gloria Jackie Roahn on December 1, 1945. He has lived in Lewiston since 1962, where he owned and operated Herman Rahn Builders until 1986, and Lewiston Pump and Supply since then. He loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid snowmobiler, and was one of the original members of the Lewiston Fun Ones Snowmobile Club. Herman always enjoyed spending time with his family. Herman is survived by his children, John "Jack" (Connie) Rahn of Germfask, MI, Constance (Felix) Renkiewicz of Waters, MI, Michael Rahn, Susan (Larry) Wheelis, and Stevn (Denise) Rahn all of Lewiston, and Kimberly (Joe) Jeluso of Lowell, Mi; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Richard (Sue) Rahn of Turner, MI, Howard (Doris) Rahn of Bay City, MI, Albert Jr (Rose) Rahn of Kawkawlin, MI, and Noreen (Walter) Schuhardt, Violet Kroenig, and Nancy (Mark) Anderson, all of Bay City, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie, two grandchildren, Tina Wheelis and Tim Rahn; great grandchild, Casey Byars; brothers, Harold, Gerald, and Calvin, and a sister, Sophia Rahn. Funeral services for Mr Rahn were held on Friday, November 13, 2009 in Lewiston, MI. Interment took place at St Francis Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. The family has suggested memorials to Hospice of Michigan, Gaylord.
