Mr. Henry "Hank" James Wooten, 72 of Atlanta, Michigan died at home surrounded by the love of his wife on the early morning of December 4, 2020. He was born in Columbus, Indiana on March 20, 1948 to the late, Stanley and Maria (Bonati) Wooten. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. On September 21, 1974 in Saginaw, Michigan he married, Karolyn (Keeler) Wooten and together the couple celebrated 46 years of marriage before his passing. The couple have owned property in the Atlanta area since the 1980's and permanently moved here in 2000. Hank owned and operated PC House Dr in Alpena. He was a very active member of both the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Eagles where he served previously as vice president. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, refinishing antique furniture and traveling all across the United States with Karolyn. He will be deeply missed.

Hank is survived by his loving wife, Karolyn Wooten; son, Kayle R. Wooten of Decatur, Alabama; grandson, Kayle R. of Saginaw; sister, Peggy (Fred) Mayer of Fort Valley, Georgia; niece, Betsy Partin; nephew, Keith Hough; brother, Gerald (Carol) Wooten of Richland, Michigan; niece, Maria Wooten of Toronto; stepbrothers, Marvin (Charlotte) McKenzie of Grand Blanc and their family; Remi (Amy) McKenzie of Tucson, Arizona and their families; and several more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Maria Wooten.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Hank privately at this time.
