Helen Pyle

Helen Marie Pyle Helen Marie Pyle, 86, of Lewiston, MI, passed away at Tendercare Gaylord on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. She was born on March 24, 1926 to John and Theresa (Domagalski) Simon in Wyandotte, MI.. She married Gerald Pyle on June 11, 1949 in Yspilanti, MI. She worked for years at the University of Michigan where she cooked for the guest house there. She has lived in Lewiston since 1966, having owned and operated the Pyle Inn with her husband for a few years as well. She was a member of the Lewiston Mushroom Club for many years, and truly loved hunting for morel mushrooms. Helen also enjoyed reading mysteries. Helen is survived by her son, Randy (Dotti) Pyle of Lewiston; grandchildren, Jeff, Kelly, Shelli, and Amy; and great grandchildren, James, Morgan, Parker, Taylor, Kayla, Derrick, and Tommy. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 2010, daughter Judy (Mueller) Orm, and grandson, Tom Mueller. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services for Mrs. Pyle planned at this time.
Helen is survived by her son, Randy (Dotti) Pyle of Lewiston; grandchildren, Jeff, Kelly, Shelli, and Amy; and great grandchildren, James, Morgan, Parker, Taylor, Kayla, Derrick, and Tommy. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in 2010, daughter Judy (Mueller) Orm, and grandson, Tom Mueller.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services for Mrs. Pyle planned at this time.
