Harold "Doc" Joseph Guindon Mr. Harold "Doc" Joseph Guindon, 83 of Lewiston, died peacefully on October 30, 2017 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a proud veteran. He married his wife, Lillian (Slowinski) Guindon in Detroit on October 4, 1958 and together the couple celebrated 59 years of marriage before his passing. Doc resided with Lillian in Lewiston for the past 19 years, formerly living in Dearborn. He retired as a lineman from Michigan Bell (AT&T) after 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 198. Doc enjoyed the outdoors and loved to garden and could be found out in his garden every day. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Doc is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Guindon of Lewiston; son, Craig (Lala) Guindon of Biloxi, Mississippi; daughter, Denise (John Craig) Moon of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, William, Eric, Autumn, and Jake; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Reign, Jaxson, and Eden; and sister, Mary Senn of Dearborn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Blanche Guindon; and sister, Helen Heraty. Funeral services for Mr. Guindon will take place at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston; Fr. Matthew Furgiuele officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until time of service.
