Harlan Creech Mr. Harlan Creech, 77 of Atlanta passed away on June 30, 2012 at home with loved ones at his side. He was born to Bascom and Maggie (Whisman) Creech in Harlan, KY on March 3, 1935. He married Catherine Clagg on September 14, 1957 in Romulus and together they spent the last fifty-four years together. He has lived in the Atlanta area for the last twenty four years, formally of Romulus. Harlan retired from Guardian Glass Millwright where he worked for over thirty years. He enjoyed bluegrass music and would play his French harp while hanging out and playing with his buddies. He liked the outdoors from camping, fishing, or just riding on his tractor. He was a man that hated to sit still and was in constant movement. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He is survived by wife, Catherine Creech of Atlanta; son, Joseph Creech of Atlanta; daughter, Mary (David) Kincer of Romulus; grandchildren, Nina, Bennie, Michelle, Chelsea; great grandchildren, Kayla, Rolly, Breonna; brother, James Creech of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Vi Creech of Lincoln Park; Edith (Clint) Hampton of FL; and Anniebelle Owens of Lincoln Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bascom and Maggie. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr. Creech at this time.
He is survived by wife, Catherine Creech of Atlanta; son, Joseph Creech of Atlanta; daughter, Mary (David) Kincer of Romulus; grandchildren, Nina, Bennie, Michelle, Chelsea; great grandchildren, Kayla, Rolly, Breonna; brother, James Creech of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Vi Creech of Lincoln Park; Edith (Clint) Hampton of FL; and Anniebelle Owens of Lincoln Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bascom and Maggie.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr. Creech at this time.
