Gregory Alan Bennett Sr

Mr. Gregory Alan Bennett Sr, 67 of Hillman, Michigan died suddenly on March 6, 2025 in Alpena, Michigan. He was born on December 27, 1957 to the late, George and Irene (Wicks) Bennett in Flint, Michigan. Greg served his country proudly in the United States Army. While he was stationed in Germany, he participated in the International Four Days Marches Nijmegen through the Netherlands. Greg enjoyed both computers and reading. He had a passion for science and astronomy. He loved learning and viewed every moment as teachable. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially walking in the woods and hunting for morels. Greg was a kind and caring person, and always willing to help others. He is and will be deeply missed.

Greg will be remembered by his wife, Brenda Bennett; children, Patricia (David) Cox, Tiffany (Nicholas) Rose, Gregory (Heather Thomas) Bennett Jr; grandchildren, Eric, Taylor, Fisher, Rowan, Griffin, Grayson, and one on the way; siblings, Patricia (Brian) Klein, James (Terri Oxley) Dodge, Clyde (Luann Lentz) Dodge, Colleen (Gregory) Gambs; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene; sister, Diane Orlando; and brothers, Donald and Darryl Francisco. 

Funeral services for Mr. Bennett will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service.
