Grant Kenyon

Grant Kenyon Grant Kenyon, 60, of Atlanta, MI, passed away at his residence on February 2, 2011. He was born on March 14, 1950 to Gerald and Edna (Thompson) Kenyon in Pontiac, MI. He married the former Kathleen Head on July 30, 1983 in Clarkston, MI. Grant has lived in Atlanta since 1998, moving here from Pontiac after retiring from General Motors after 30 yrs of service. He was a member of the Montmorency County Conservation Club for many years and was its president for 2 terms. He love to teach hunters safety as well. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era, and also served as a MP in the National Guard from 1982-1989. He enjoyed hunting and small engine repair. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Grant is survived by his wife, Kathy of Atlanta, MI; children, Grant Jr (Malynda) Kenyon of Warren, MI, Jason (Candice) Kenyon of Owosso, MI, Lee (Cher) Tornow of Waterford, MI, Robyn (James) Rose of Maricopa, AZ, Christopher (Kimberly) Kenyon of Holly, MI, Adam (Krystal) Tornow of Wixom, MI, and Jillienne Tornow of Waterford, MI; 22 grandchildren; parents, Gerald and Edna Kenyon of Atlanta; and siblings, Victoria Weaver of Atlanta, MI, Gerald (Mary) Kenyon of Bridgeport, MI, Gregory (Barbara) Kenyon of Oxford, MI, Michelle (Ron) Weaver of Waterford, MI. Funeral services for Mr Kenyon were held on February 6, 2011 at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Roger Steele officiating.
