Gloria Jessen

Mrs. Gloria Jean Jessen, 72 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on November 30, 2021 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center in Kalkaska. She was born on April 3, 1949 to the late, Paul and Gwendolyn (Collett) McDuffey in Fairfield, Alabama. She married her husband, Norman on November 9, 1990 and together the couple celebrated 31 years of marriage before her passing. The couple have resided in Lewiston since 2001. Gloria enjoyed vacationing at Copper Harbor with her family, reading, trips to the casino, planting her flowers, watching and feeding her birds, and taking rides with her old man. What she valued most, however; was her family and the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Norman Jessen of Lewiston; children, Paul (Leslie) McVicker of Trenton; Danny (Jamie) McVicker of Wyandotte; Tanya Jessen of Gaylord; Robert (Cindy) Jessen of Romulus; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gwendolyn McDuffey; and mother-in-law, Nan.

As were her wishes cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to remember Gloria privately at this time.
