Gloria Duff

Gloria Veronica Duff Gloria Veronica Duff, 84, of Johannesburg, MI, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Tendercare Gaylord. She was born on March 15, 1925 to George and Jean (McGregor) Goetz on Kelly's Island, OH. She married William Duff in 1968. She has lived up north since 1998 from Algonac, MI. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially needlepoint, knitting, and crocheting. She was an avid gardener. Gloria loved to bake cookies for family and friends, as she was known as the "Cookie Lady". Gloria is survived by her daughters, Donna (Lynn) Meade of Johannesburg, MI, and Sharon (Walter) Smith of China Twp, MI; grandchildren, Nathan, Clinton, Chuck (Stacy), Joe (Tammy), Allan (Chantel), and Deanna (Joe); great grandchildren, Chuckie, Tyler, Joe, Lauren, Mason, Canyon, and Alyssa; sister in law, Lucy Goetz of Johannesburg, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her parents, George and Jean; sisters, Kay Rose and Betty Warner; and brothers, Merritt Goetz, Alex Goetz, and Jerry Loucks. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mrs Duff will be held in Algonac at a later date.
