Gertrude Opal Kline Gertrude Opal Kline, 86, of East Jordan, MI, passed away on January 27, 2010 at Grandvue Nursing Home in East Jordan. She was born on September 13, 1923 to Thomas and Georgia (Webster) Colter in Boyne City, MI. She married Frank Kline on December 31, 1949, having just celebrated 60 yrs of marraige. She loved to cook and make homemade candies, especially chocolates. She enjoyed playing card games and listening to Polka music. Above all else, she loved to spend time with family. Gertrude is survived by her husband, Frank of East Jordan, MI; children, Ken (Donna) Kline of East Jordan, MI, Donna (Mike) Wiklanski of Petoskey, MI, Alan (Sue) Kline of East Jordan, MI, Karen (George Corner) Kline of East Jordan, MI; grandchildren, Kenneth Jr (Tina), Brenda, Benjamin (Renee), Nicholas, Adam (Jennifer), Amanda (Zac), Britney, Carissa, and David; and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs Kline will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church at 207 Williams St, East Jordan, MI, Rev Dr Jennifer Saad officiating. Visitation hours will be held fom 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Memorials have been suggested to the Kline Family in care of the Green Funeral Home, PO Box 201, Atlanta, MI 49709.
