Gerald Skog

Gerald C. Skog Gerald Clare Skog, 80, of Lewiston, MI passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Grayling Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born on June 12, 1927 to Fritz and Louise (Vam) Skog in Highland Park, MI. He married the former Geraldine Martin on November 11, 1947. Gerald has lived in Lewiston since 1982, vacationing there since 1951. He retired from Superior Heating after 35 yrs. He was an avid downhill skier and fly fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, especially bow hunting for deer. He loved music and playing cards. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Gerald is survived by his wife, Geraldine, of Lewiston, MI; son, Greg Skog, of Canton, MI; daughters, Sandy Fisher of Canton, MI, Marlyss (Sean) Berkan or Organhouse, CA, and Andrea (Larry) Farrell of Dearborn, MI; 4 grandchildren, Sheri, Christy, Rebecca, and Meagan; and 2 great grandchildren, Mara and Joey. Funeral services for Mr Skog will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Visitation hours will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday. Memorials have been suggested to the St. Baldrick's Foundation for childhood cancer awareness and research. 1443 East Washington Blvd. #650, Pasadena, CA 91104.
