Gerald Lamoureux

Gerald D. Lamoureux Gerald D. Lamoureux, 80, of Houghton Lake, MI, passed away on June 3, 2009 at his residence. He was born on July 9, 2928 to Albert and Rosilda (Foyle) Lamoureux in Woonsocket, RO. He married the former Betty Jane Pelletier on May 26, 1951 in Detroit, MI. Gerald has lived in Houghton Lake for almost 30 yrs, formerly of the Detroit area. He worked as a truck driver all of his life. He enjoyed traveling all over the country, driving from place to place. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family, especially playing dominos. Gerald is survived by his wife, Betty Jane; son, Michael (Judy) of Higgins Lake, MI; daughters, Christiane (Jerry) Baker of Lake Tahoe, CA, and Janet (David) Dixson of Livonia, MI; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Lamoureux of Lewiston, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rosilda; and a brother, Roger. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held for Mr Lamoureux the week of June 14th in Houghton Lake.
