Gerald Lafleche

Mr. Gerald Alphonse LaFleche, 94 of Milford, Michigan died peacefully at Grace Rae's Place Adult Care Home in New Hudson, Michigan. He was born in Hillman, Michigan on January 4, 1927 to the late, Alphonse and Elizabeth (Creamer) LaFleche. He was a compassionate, generous and hard working man. He worked for Michigan CAT for over 30 years and then for other AIS equipment until he retired and started a parts delivery service. Gerald enjoyed working outside, tinkering on equipment, riding his Farmall and D4 tractors and having a beer under the shade tree in his yard. He also enjoyed his trips to Hillman with his family in tow during the summer and winter months where they would snowmobile, clear the land, hang out at the Farm and enjoy their time together. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Gerald is survived by his children, Ann LaFleche of Milford; Janet (Randy) LaFleche-Monson of Florida; Larry (Carol) LaFleche of Alpena; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Elizabeth LaFleche; and wife, Elaine; and their sons, Joe, Kevin, and Keith, as well as other family members who passed before him.

Funeral services for Mr. LaFleche will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Alpena, Fr. Michael Linguar officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, Hillman and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will follow services at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Hillman where Gerald will be laid to rest.
