Gerald Briley

Gerald "Jerry" Briley Gerald "Jerry" Briley 58 of Hillman formerly of Atlanta passed away Wednesday February 14 at MediLodge of Hillman following and extended illness. Jerry was born July 30, 1948 in Alpena the son of Keith and Donna (Coleman) Briley. Jerry graduated from Atlanta High School and served more than eight years in the U S Army. Jerry attended Alpena Community College and was employed at Rust Wood Products doing office and computer work. Jerry also held a private pilots license. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David. He is survived by sons Douglas Briley with the U S navy in Gulfport, Missy and Rusty of Texas, 5 grandchildren, sister Patti (Jim) Smith and brothers Bill Briley of Alpena and Todd of Frederic, MI, half brother brothers Ron Paul of Frederic and Jim Paul of Hillman, and half sisters Betty Simonye of Lachine and Mary Petlinski of Hillman Memorial services were held February 17th at the Lighthouse Fellowship in Hillman, Pastor Jerry Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Briley Township Cemetery.
