Georgia May Sanders Georgia May Sanders, 83, of Lewiston, passed away at her home on July 31, 2011. She was born on April 8, 1928 to Gernert and Vernice (Schell) Sanders in Pontiac, MI. She has lived in Lewiston since 1991 from Madison Heights, MI. She worked for Singer Corporation for many years, selling both machines and fabric to the public, then she worked for Hobby Craft in wholesale for a while after. She was a past member of the National Association of Miniature Enthuisiasts. She enjoyed all sewing and needle crafts, especially making dolls and doll clothes, and was an avid reader. Georgia is survived by her husband, Vincent Sanders of Lewiston, MI; son, Jason (Lois) Sanders of Sylvania, OH; daughter, Susan (Ken Irwin) Sanders of Empire, MI; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a sister in law, Ruth Case of Romulus, MI. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs Sanders at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home.
