George Francis Cusick Jr George Francis Cusick Jr, 83, of Gaylord, MI, passed away at his home on June 18, 2010. He was born on April 11, 1927 to George and Harriet (McKevett) Cusick in New York, NY. He served his country in the US Navy. George married the former Esther Rivals in 1947 in Highland Park, MI. He has lived in Gaylord since 2003, formerly of Clarkston, MI. He worked at Grand Steel for 22 yrs as a plant supervisor and also owned and operated Foley's Party Store in Royal Oak for 30 yrs. He was an avid camper, having traveled all the lower 48 states and quite a few of the Canadian provinces as well. He bowled for over 25 yrs in leagues, and was an avid golfer as well. George is survived by his wife, Esther; sons, Neil (Valerie) of Clarkson, TN, and Pat of Troy, MI; daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Moxie of Wolverine, MI; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr Cusick at this time.
