Gay Ann Larkin

Mrs. Gay Larkin, 90 of Atlanta, passed away Saturday morning, December 9, 2023 at her home. The daughter of Cyril and Helen (Howlett) Burling was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 17, 1933.  She married Edward Larkin and together they raised their family in the Waterford area until retiring to Atlanta in 1989 where they were members of Canada Creek Ranch. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Mark); Terri (Gordon); brother Edward Burling; grandchildren, Courtney, Jessica, Neil, and Jenna; great-grandchildren; Jack, Madeliene, Aveline, Ainsley, Taggart, Paxton and Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Helen Burling; husband, Edward in 1999, sisters, Donna and Dorothy, and brother, Bill.

Grandma Gay was loved by many generations at Canada Creek Ranch.  She loved them back especially her CCR “grandkids”.  Tristen and Trent-her twins were very special to her.  Gay was cared for these last weeks by her godson Brian, and her daughters. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church which brought her much comfort and friendship and the Women’s Auxiliary of CCR.

 Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with Reverend Pam Lenartowicz officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
