Gary Clyde Frank Mr. Gary Clyde Frank, 73 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on the morning of May 25, 2016 with his loving wife at his side. He was born in Lone Prairie, Minnesota on May 31, 1942 to the late, Clyde and Jean Frank. He served his country proudly as a veteran in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married his wife, Cindy (Newman) Frank on February 22, 1975 and together the couple celebrated 41 years of marriage before his passing. Gary retired from the General Motors Plant in Flint after 34 years where he worked in Metal Fabrication as a millwright. The couple moved to Atlanta in 2002 having vacationed here since 1992. Gary enjoyed a variety of hobbies of which included his love for nature and being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, and making others laugh. Above all he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Frank of Atlanta; son, Adam Frank of Atlanta; daughters, Denise Ferguson of Lewiston; Lorrie (Bill) McKeny of Holly; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Jean Frank; sons, Gary Jr; and Daniel Leininger; and sister, Gloria Frank. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery; Holly, Michigan; at a later date.
