Frank Jackson Tate Jr. Mr. Frank Jackson Tate Jr., 79 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away at Otsego Memorial Hospital on November 29, 2012. He was born to the late Frank and Mary (Schatilo) Tate on July 23, 1933 in Detroit. He has lived in Lewiston for the last fourteen years, owning property here since the 1960s. Frank was a proud veteran and retired from the Air National Guard after twenty-six years of service with the United States Air Force and National Guard. He enjoyed trips to the casino and playing keno, along with being up north and socializing with friends. Above all, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He is survived by long-time companion, Patricia Johnston of Lewiston; son, Adam (Melissa) Tate of Port Huron; daughters, Lisa Tate of Richmond; Christine (Dennis) Nadeau of Seattle, WA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Tate of Clio; and stepdaughter, Lisa (Gary) Anderson of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Tate. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr. Tate at this time.
