Frank Robert Celizic Frank Robert Celizic, 81, of Hillman, passed away on August 11, 2008 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Alpena, MI. He was born on December 8, 1926 to John and Alice (Rost) Celizic in Cleveland, OH. Frank has lived in Hillman since 1999, after hunting in the area for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper, and even spent some time gold mining in Alaska. He loved guns, he was a great marksman and gunsmith. Frank is survived by his wife, Elisabeth of Hillman, MI; son, Frank (Sharon) Celizic of Ft Wayne, IN; daughter, Monica Celizic, of Clinton Twp, MI; grandchildren Joseph, Deborah, and Rachel; step children, Gretchen (Jim) Bernhardt of Westeville, OH, Patrice Havreberg of Euclid, OH, Robert (Karen) Havreberg of Columbus, OH, Rex (Kathie) Abke of Troy, OH, Becky (Al) Erickson of Leroy, OH, Vicky (Dwight) Shuler of Bowling Green, OH, Marcia (Tom) Cooper of Madison, OH, and Cheryl Holeski of Willoughby, OH, and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister, Alice Estes. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 12 p.m. at the Hillman United Methodist Church, Pastor Don Derby officiating.
