Floyd "Bud" Squires Mr. Floyd "Bud" Squires, 83 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on December 23, 2013 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born in Rust Township, Michigan to the late, Joseph and Clara (Hennon) Squires on March 30, 1930. Bud worked in Hillman all of his life and worked at the Rust Sawmill for many years. He was a member of the Hillman Community Baptist Church and served as a deacon there. He enjoyed to garden in his free time, and was known for his sympathy to everyone else's needs, even thought he had his own struggles. He is survived by wife, Martha Squires of Hillman; sister, Faye (Linuel) Belote of Auburn Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara Squires; and siblings, Milo, Daniel, Grace Burley, Mabel Gannon, and John. Funeral services for Mr. Squires will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Hillman Community Baptist Church; Hillman, Michigan; Pastor Jim Killian officiating. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until time of service at the church.
He is survived by wife, Martha Squires of Hillman; sister, Faye (Linuel) Belote of Auburn Hills; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara Squires; and siblings, Milo, Daniel, Grace Burley, Mabel Gannon, and John.
