Eva Bays

Eva Lee Bays Eva Lee Bays, 88, of Lewiston, MI, passed away at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman, MI on Saturday, August 9, 2008. She was born on May 15. 1920 to Michael and Carrie (Ainsworth) Deter in Pablo, Montana. She marred James Bays on April 30, 1941 in Pontiac, MI. She lived in Lewiston for 20 yrs before moving into the nursing home in Hillman. She led a quiet life and enjoyed taking care of her husband. She liked to hike and watch the deer. She loved to work in the yard, especially planting and taking care of her flowers. Eva is survived by her son, James Bays of Petersburg, FL and a sister Mary Arnold of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2002. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Interment will take place at a later date in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, FL.
Eva is survived by her son, James Bays of Petersburg, FL and a sister Mary Arnold of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2002.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Interment will take place at a later date in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, FL.
