Eugene Edward LaFramboise Mr. Eugene Edward LaFramboise, 86 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at his home on September 20, 2016. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan on August 30, 1930 to the late, Harvey and Mildred (Hawkins) LaFramboise. He married his wife, Jacqueline LaFramboise on June 10, 1950 and together the couple celebrated 63 years of a wonderful marriage before her passing in 2013. Eugene lived in Hillman since 1982 and retired from Ford Motor Company as an investment analyst after 30 years. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman, as well as the Knights of Columbus. Eugene enjoyed lawn care and gardening, and loved tomatoes although he could never grow his own due to the deer always eating them, so he would buy them from farmer's markets. Above everything he did, Eugene enjoyed his time spent with his family and grandchildren and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his sons, Ed (Stephanie) LaFramboise of Hillman; Daniel LaFramboise of Tecumseh; daughter, Mary LaVigne of Adrian; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ted LaFramboise of North Olmstead, Ohio; Tim (Connie) LaFramboise of Alabama; Tom (Etta) LaFramboise of Brownstown Twp; sisters, Patricia (Jack) Gendron of Howell; and Beverly (Bill) Creutz of Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mildred LaFramboise; wife, Jackie LaFramboise; brothers, Harvey and Michael; and sister, Judy Collins. Funeral services for Mr. LaFramboise will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church; Hillman; Fr. Michael Connor officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service. Burial will take place immediately following the service at St Augustine Catholic Cemetery.
