Ethel Shepherd

Mrs. Ethel Maxine Shepherd, 94 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her children on May 13, 2019. She was born in Coleman, Michigan on September 17, 1924 to the late, Samuel and Agnes (Donaldson) Walter. She married her husband, Ted Shepherd in Coleman on February 15, 1946 and together the couple celebrated 69 years of marriage before Ted's passing in April of 2015. The couple resided in Lewiston since the early 90's. Ethel had a variety of hobbies from word search puzzles, to her love for growing plants, and her passion for cooking and baking. She enjoyed to travel and traveled to all 50 states with her husband, Ted. She was a wonderful mom who had a deep love for her family. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Leona Shepherd of Douglasville, Georgia; Maxine Shepherd; Randy Shepherd both of Lewiston; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Agnes Walter; husband, Ted; brother, Ross; and infant daughter, Marlene.

Graveside services for Mrs. Shepherd will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Midland City Cemetery, Midland, Michigan.
