Emil J. Coudenys Emil J Coudenys, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, MI after an extended illness. Emil was born in Detroit Michigan, April 18, 1923 the son of Henry and (Sylvia) Coudenys. He was a tool and die maker, retiring from the Budd Co. in Detroit in 1980 after more than 30 years of service. Emil was a veteran of the U S Army having served during WWII, and being awarded the Purple Heart. Emil was a member of VFW Post 6335, and American Legion Post 198 both in Lewiston and the Order of the Purple Heart. Emil also attended St Francis Catholic Church. Emil is survived by his son Jim (Shirley) Coudneys of Lewiston, MI, daughter Linda (Jim) Robinson of Atlanta, GA, 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a sister Madeleine Malanowski of Ohio. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Friends may call in Lewiston from 7-9 Saturday and 4-8 Sunday.
